myths

There are many examples of mutually exclusive myths but here are a few simple examples.

Myths:-

Humans are not responsible for CO2 building up in the atmosphere but rather the CO2 is coming from the warming oceans heated by the sun...........and........The CO2 in the atmosphere is rising a lot but the temperatures are globally not rising.

Humans cant possibly know how the climate will respond because it is too complicated. The temperatures may rise, may fall or stay the same...... and ..... the climate sensitivity is definitely so small that is of no concern.

Facts:-

The reality is humans have caused carbon dioxide levels to rise to levels higher than have likely existed since times long before the start of human evolution. Temperatures are rising each decade and though the rate of this in the future is not well known it is highly likely that it will cause severe impacts depending on the level of greenhouse gas emissions.
